This is my wonderful 1922 Steinway Model 'B' Concert Grand Piano (6'11"). The action was reconditioned and replaced in the 1990's before I owned it, but the piano still has the original soundboard, frame, case and ivory keys. We have had it in our house since 2011 and it is a beautiful instrument - all the recordings on this page were made on this piano using Neumann mics - a pair of KM184's and a U87Ai.
The piano has been maintained and tuned only by the master technician Charles Ball.
Our beloved dog Finley (2007-2022) can be seen lying underneath.
